Earth Science: 4
Instructor: Matteson   
Earth Science is a standards-based core curriculum course that covers all nine of the earth science concepts for grades 9-12 in the California Science Content Standards. The standards are covered in four quarter-long units: Earth's Place in the Universe, Earth's External Energy, Earth's Internal Energy, and Earth's Natural Resources. Throughout the course laboratory exercises will be emphasized and students will have opportunities to develop various science skills such as data collection, graphing, data analysis and laboratory report writing. Each quarter students will be required to complete a project such as a formal laboratory report. independent investigation, or research/report presenatation. Computers will be used to generate graphs, collect data (computer-based probes) and develop presentations.

Total Lunar Eclipse Sunday September 27, 2015

Hello Students, Parents, & Colleagues,

Some pretty amazing stuff happening this Sunday Sept. 27th, 2015. At 6:10 pm PST directly to the East in Yucaipa, CA the Moon will undergo a Total Lunar Eclipse. This has not happened in 33 years. Here are the details for best viewing.

Total Lunar Eclipse Visible by 19:35 (7:35 PST) to the East
TRANSIT (shadows passing over the Moon) happens between 19:35 to 21:27 PST (7:35 to 9:27 pm PST) best time to watch the moon go from Red back to Gray!!!
